Our multiple children’s programs are designed to encourage children to walk closer with God while experiencing the power or the Holy Spirit and having lots of fun in the meantime! Our number one priority is to make sure kids know they are loved children of The King, and that He has a unique plan for each of them. The Kids get to grow together, build relationships, and experience the joy and peace of knowing the Creator of the universe. Although we may tackle some pretty tough topics, we do it in a way that is real for kids, and age appropriate. We offer weekly and monthly programs as well as seasonal special events like camps and retreats. We want you to feel comfortable trusting us with your kids. You will find our staff and volunteers have a heart for children and have completed a background check.  It is our hope that parents are able to rest assured knowing their child is safe, in the best of care, and in an environment filled with fun, love, and Jesus!

Kids Church, Sunday Mornings

8:30 am & 10:30am

Nursery available for kids under 2.
Classes available:  Tod Pod( 2-4 years), Kindergarten-1st grade, and 2nd-4th grade

Check- In

Please check-in each week at our PVC Kids check-in center located at the north front entrance of the church (single door #17).  Here, each child receives their own name tag with any allergies listed, as well as a randomly selected number each weekend. Parents also receive a tag with the same number that will allow us to match parents with children upon pick up.

Please make sure a parent’s cell phone number is in the system as we will text that number if your child needs you for any reason during the service. 

Classrooms

You will find classrooms for infants through Pre-K. Though they are little, we still want to instill the love of God in them and offer a lesson to kids 2 through 4 years.  We also offer a nursing mother’s room next to the nursery for the little ones who aren’t quite ready for a nursery.

 Each service includes age appropriate curriculum based activities and/or crafts, interactive worship with fun songs, creative Bible stories told through live teachers and/or media, and of course a snack! When leaving the class, you may receive a craft your child did during class along with take home resources to further their lesson during the week.

Please make us aware of any food allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have. We do ask that snacks not be brought from home (except for nursery if preferred) to ensure we are safe with any food allergies children may have.

Drop Off

After you have completed the check-in process, they will be dismissed after the first worship song and after we pray over them, Your child will have many fun opportunities to learn and play in the classroom, and we want this to be a fun, peaceful experience for everyone. If your child struggles with separation anxiety, our volunteers will do all they can to calm the child, love on them, and reassure them that you will return. If your child continues to cry or struggle for an extended period of time, we will text the cell number given at check- in and try again next time! 

Wednesday's After School Program

Wednesday After-School Program, Wednesdays 4:00pm-6:30 pm. Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children who attend Bayfield schools can ride bus directly from schools to the church. Program includes light snack, games, worship, craft, dinner, and a lesson. Adults are welcome to enjoy our free (donations accepted) community dinner, served from 5:15 pm – 6:00 pm. Our program has a number of special events throughout the year including a Christmas play, Thanksgiving feast, talent show, and awards ceremony. Yearly release forms are required. Volunteers

We would love to have you join us! All volunteers in our children’s and youth ministries must undergo a background check and child protection training. We also require you to have completed all four GROWTH TRACK classes. This is a series of four classes that guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you.
