At Pine Valley Church, we have access to other resources that can help you grow in your relationship with Jesus or just find resources for help with common life challenges. Take a look at the organizations below and check out their content.

Bible PRoject

As a believer and follower of Christ, it is important to spend time with God, learn to know Him, to love Him, and hear His voice.
A simple process we suggest is using the S-O-A-P method.
SCRIPTURE – Open your Bible and take your time reading and allowing God to speak to you. When you are done, look for a verse that particularly spoke to you and write it in your journal.
OBSERVATION – What do you think God is saying to you in the scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write it down in your own words.
APPLICATION – Personalize what you have read by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Perhaps it is instruction, encouragement, revelation of a new promise, or corrections for a particular area of your life. Write it down.
PRAYER – This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture or it may be a greater insight on what He’s revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation. Listen to what God has to say and write it out.

Senior living communities are now offering care options specifically for Christian seniors. These options include nursing homes, adult day care, assisted living, memory care and independent living communities. In many respects, Christian senior living communities offer the same level of care as communities that aren’t designed for people of a specific faith. The main difference is that Christian senior living communities have a slate of services designed for people who value their religious beliefs and want as many opportunities as possible to demonstrate their faith. These services include pastoral care, Christian educational programming and on-site worship opportunities.
