As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.- Proverbs 27:17
Small Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Small Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Pine Valley Church is a church of Small Groups, not a church with Small Groups.

Our meetings will be on Tuesday evenings, from 6-7:30 pm, in Room 2, south wing of Pine Valley Church. The readings are 10-20 minutes long, with discussion and prayer time to follow.

Prayer is where everything begins and ends in the realm of the Spirit. It is where everything is accomplished. Prayer is the true genetic code of the Church. Nothing God is going to do will ever happen without prayer. If you have a desire to have a burning passion to pray for our church (including our pastors, leaders and members), our community, our local government and other things concerning the Kingdom of God, then this small group might be for you.

Some examples would be in times of loss of a family member, a new baby, a sick family, and other unique circumstances that may hinder the family's ability to prepare or provide meals on their own. We'd like to partner with you in loving on these families in their times of need.

SonSeekers meets at Pine Valley Church in our Youth "Hive Room". We gather in a warm and inviting setting to draw closer to God and one another. Our time together begins with soul-stirring worship music, creating an atmosphere where we can truly feel the presence of God. We then have a chance to pray and seek the Lord in whatever way you feel most comfortable (sit/stand/lay down, walk, etc..) During our gatherings, you have the opportunity to openly share what God has been speaking to your heart, or we understand that sometimes the most profound moments happen in silence, so you're welcome to quietly reflect without any obligation to share. SonSeekers is where you can deepen your relationship with God, build meaningful connections with fellow believers, and gain fresh perspectives on your faith journey.

Young Adults is for anyone HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR TO 25 YEARS OLD. We will meet weekly to do bible/book studies, watch movies, share testimonies and devotionals etc. We plan to meet on Monday's at 6:30pm in the youth room of Pine Valley Church and end at 8:30pm (STARTING AUG 19, 2024).
It is important for young adults to have a place to come during their early years of beginning adulthood. This space allows them to meet people who are similar to them, as well as those who are different, fostering opportunities to learn from one another. Including high school seniors in the group is also essential, as they are in deep transition. Having a community where they can walk closely with others during this significant time can provide valuable support and guidance.
